what was your motivation?

Bonjour, I am the last born in my family and, therefore, most of the decisions i made were based on my elder brothers' achievements and ventures. I remember the day when my brother was home for holiday after his high school studies debut, he shared his experiences and what really interested me was this one subject, French. I didn't tire going through his book just to get a sneak peek of what this unfamiliar subject was all about. Bonjour, as i can remember was the only word that i memorized, and from then it has been a tale to tell.

On joining high school, i took up the subject. Well, even before, i limited my high school choices to those that offer french.

ekhMy first class was a nightmare, i didn't like how the alphabets sounded, especially the 'R' which goes //. I avoided answering questions until late in my studies when i was now used to it. I just didn't like how those words sounded. Anyone interested in learning french, first rule, never shy away from speaking it however bad it will sound for you.

At the end of it all, it was my best performed subject and everyone thought i should take it to a more advanced level which i did.

Here are some of the people i have travelled the road with.

Are you learning french? what motivated you? how is your experience?
